The Jordan Ridge Elementary Band Program offers students the opportunity to learn a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument in a structured, engaging, and high-quality music program. Students build musical skills, confidence, teamwork, and discipline while experiencing the excitement of live performance.
Under the direction of Ms. Nelya Coomans, students are held to high standards and encouraged to grow both as individual musicians and as members of an ensemble. Our goal is to foster a lifelong appreciation and understanding of music.
Main Program & Partner Program
Students may participate through either the Jordan Ridge Main Program or the Partner Program for students attending participating schools. Partner Program students rehearse at Jordan Ridge and enjoy all the same opportunities as Main Program students, including concerts, festivals, field trips, and ensemble performances.
