Morning Announcement Leaders

These students must be 6th graders. They will be responsible for reading morning announcements on the intercom system. Students need to have a good speaking voice and reading skills.

Information Leaders

These students must be in the 4-6th grade. They will be responsible for delivering letters, forms or messages from the front office to the classrooms.

School Store Leaders

These students must be in the 5-6th grades. They will be responsible for assisting students with purchases at the school store. They need to have good math skills.

Flag Leaders

These students must be in the 3-6th grade. They will be responsible for raising and lowering of the American Flag on a daily basis. They need to be able to come to school 15 minutes early and stay 15 minutes later.

Peer Helper Leaders

These students must be in the 4-6th grades. They are responsible for assisting students who need additional academic help before school. They will need to be able to come to school at 8:00 am.

Greeters

These students must be in the 3-6th grades. They will be responsible for opening the doors and greeting students and visitors in the morning. They need to be at the school by 8:00 am.

Breakfast Leaders

These students must be in the 4-6th grades. They will be responsible for assisting students during breakfast in the cafeteria. They will need to be at the school by 7:45 am.

Hall Monitor Leaders

These students must be in 3-6th grade. They will be responsible for monitoring the halls before and after school and during lunch to ensure students are responsible, respectful and safe.

Recycling Leaders

These students must be in the 4-6th grades. They will be responsible for maintaining and the collection of the recycling bins throughout the school and implementing any other recycling opportunities.

Junior Coach Leaders

These students can be in grades 3-6. They will be responsible for the set-up and running of games during recess and before school.

Physical Fitness Leaders

These students must be in 3-6th grade. They will be responsible for the set-up of the run/walk club in the mornings. They will also serve as student members of the Westvale Nutrition and Physical Fitness committee. They must be at school by 7:45 am.

Westvale Ambassadors

These students must be in the 6th grade. They must understand and practice the 7 Habits, teach the habits to students, represent the school in the community, give school tours and help plan leadership events and opportunities throughout the school.
